Sealy Dog Bed Ideas with Canopy

Jan 6th

Sealy dog bed – Whether you want to give it some protection from the sun when it’s outdoors or add a little style to it, putting a canopy on your puppy’s bed will make you feel like a prince. Best of all, the canopy is lightweight and can be removed quickly when you want to change your bedding. Measure your dog’s bed and note the length and width. Cut two pieces of PVC pipe with a saw that have the same length as the length and two more pieces with the width measurement. Attach all four pieces to the corners using 3-socket connectors. Make sure that the third jack points up at each corner when the frame is completely on the floor and firmly hammers all joints with a hammer to secure the tubes securely into the connectors.

Cut four identical pieces of PVC pipe so you can make a 24-36 inch arch above your sealy dog bed. This measurement depends on the size of the bed and the height to which you want to put the awning, so you must be clear of how you want it before cutting the pieces. Place one of the four tube sections on each elbow at the corners, then fold each to join them over the center of the bed and place each end into a four-way PVC T to hold them together.

Place the frame on the sealy dog bed of your dog and put curtains or other adornments as garlands if you wish. Put scarves or strips of transparent cloth across the canopy frame and use tapes or curtain ties to tie them together. You can remove the canopy to put curtains with hems in the pipes. Try to sew the hems of triangle-shaped fabric pieces on each side so they can slide leaving the bottom and front open to allow pup access and circulation of the breeze.
