Ideally, all is the same thickness and the same length so that the bed is as accurate as possible. Some people prefer to do this step without the use of a ruler but for greater security and for aesthetic reasons we recommend using one. The fringes can measure between 1 and 2 cm depending on the size of the bed we are building and the fill that we use.

At the end of trimming the fringes, begin to knot one side by taking one of the fringes of the bottom layer and tying it with a double knot to its counterpart in the upper layer. Make sure the knot is sturdy. If you are going to use fabric fillers, chopped foam or anything else that is loose, tie three of the four sides of your cushion bed with these double knots and leave one side open to place the stuffing.
