Dog Sofa Beds Ideas

Dog sofa beds – Dogs rest naturally in packages and usually welcome the opportunity to share bed with their owners. Smaller, older or disabled dogs, however, may not be able to jump on or off a bed and may hurt while trying. Trying to bend down to lift a dog on a bed can cause back pain to the owner. A small staircase can help your dog to get to bed safely and easily.

Cut an 8-by-12 rectangle from both sides, using a hand saw. Cut 12-inch pages from 19¾-inch pages and the 8-inch sides from 15-inch sides. Sand all the dog sofa beds pieces to make them smooth. Install the staircase to verify that the pieces fit well. Place the two sides, the long side down on a flat surface 30 inches apart. Place the strains in place over the two side pieces, which are perpendicular to the ground. Place stairs in place over the two side edges, parallel to the ground. Place the lid in place across the back of the side panels. Mark any irregularities, and saw or sand boards to correct the measurements if needed.

Glue the boards in place with a wooden strap and allow it to dry properly. Mark the positions of the dog sofa beds. When the stitch pieces fit together, drill 5/8 inch screw holes through these markings. Screw the boards in place, using a screwdriver. Secure each trunk and step in place with three evenly placed screws on each side. Attach the backrest to the side posts with four evenly placed screws on each side. Brush bites – or primer, then paint – on the stairs to improve their appearance and to protect the stairs from moisture. Allow the stain or paint to dry before proceeding. Center a rectangle of carpet on each tread and staple it in place. The carpet provides traction, preventing your pet from sliding on the stairs.
